File splitting is initiated by the hot key Alt+P.
The dialog allows file splitting in three different ways:

Specify Part Size. The unit can be selected or typed.

Specify required number of parts.
|
|
Split the file on the diagram using the mouse.
|
When splitting, in addition to part files, a small file with extension crc gets created. It contains the control sum.
